Growing up my dad would tell me to "Dream big," and I took it to heart. First, I earned a master's degree in teaching. Then, at an obstetrician's appointment, I heard a heartbeat and realized my second dream was to be a stay-at-home mom. Now, many years and three kids later, I'm hardly ever home. Among sports practices, grocery store stops, and playground visits, I find joy in Rachel's imagination, Joshua's dimples, braiding Adelynn's hair, and having date nights with my man. On the weekend, I like to paint old furniture, tour museums, and worship at church. Unfortunately, I kill every plant I touch, enjoy french fries a little too much, and visit coffeehouses for the hot chocolate. It was in a coffeehouse, sipping cocoa, that another dream came to light as I penned Remember This.
